wiki - just listen

Well I have to admit, I didn't go outside and listen, maybe because it's freezing or maybe because I'm in school. However I really liked this poem. It was very sad, but very powerful. I think that the author wanted readers to see that we are aways moving. In daily life we are always stressed out about everything and never stop to smell the roses, if you will. I think he wanted us to slow down and see what is around us, see what we are taking advantage of. He wanted us to appreciate the beauty around us.
